How does anyone start a blog? I've been sat in bed all evening (lie, since I got in from work which was a good 3 hours ago and it's still only 9.07pm) doing the usual, balancing out cups of peppermint tea with triple the quantities of some sort of salted savoury snack or chocolate, wondering how to kick off this blank page. The daunting white space which sets chills into any blogging novices mind when confidently announcing to their boyfriend, pet dog and the stranger walking past you on the way to work 'I'm going to start blogging again'.
I decided getting comfy would be a good start, lighting a candle with the added ambience of Lily's (doggo num 1) snoring and occasional trump in the background. Perfect.
I'm not too sure what's found me here again, other than the inherent longing to write what's on my mind, to share what I see and to communicate with people behind a lit screen. It's what seems to come naturally since evolving from the MySpace generation, so i'm going to shamelessly embrace these urges.
I can't guarantee what I write or have to say will be of great interest or importance, but maybe you'll stick around long enough to see if I end up producing something that's half decent and that's good enough for me.
Ciao for now, i've got a full YouTube subscription box and half a tray of M&S milk chocolate mocha rounds biscuits 'MORE CHOCOLATE THAN BISCUIT' (not an AD), to inhale before I get some kip so they can settle into their new home on my thighs nicely.
